On September 8th, 2003 Jaclyn Linetsky (Megan) and
Vadim Schneider (Sebastien) were being driven from Montreal to the 15/Love set in teh Eastern Townships when their van hit
a large transport truck.
Jaclyn and Vadim were both killed instantly.
The death of these two young people was, and still
is, inconceivable.
Jaclyn and Vadim were considered the two most optimistic,
positive and loving influences on 15/Love.
Everyone on the show was destated.
By everyone's account, they were happier than they
had ever been. They took joy in their work and it showed.
Their talent was stellar; these were two rising stars.
After the accident, there was a tremendous period
of grief.
With the blessing and support of the Schenider and
Linetsky families, the series producers, as well as YTV, it was decided that the truth woudl be honoured within the context
of the series.This tragedy would no be hidden with a false happy ending. Jaclyn and Vadim's legacy would be acknowledged.
The creators hope 15/Love will now be a celebration of life in their honor.
The families of Vadim adn Jaclyn have created generous
and important charities in honour of their children. Their legacy will help thousands of others. if you wish you can contribute,
